Is that a MXC or a GS and is the tank original one that came on the bike or a desert spec tank?
Wanted - 1978 TS185 frame or frame&motor. Frame # TS1852-24007 up to TS1852-39022

This is the GS version, with head and rear lights, suitable for road/street circulation. The tank is also the initial one, 12 l capacity.

I have changed the carb. . In the picture you could see a Mikuni 38 put by previous owner. I have now installed a Keihin 39 pwk, and have experienced a significant change in motor performance.
