F11 rider at Brisbane Motorcycle Club wanted
« on: June 17, 2010, 08:06:22 pm »
Hi,

does anyone know the bloke who rides the Kawasaki F11 at BMCC. I have an F11 in the back shed that I will never do anything with, it is mostly all there but in pieces and fairly poor condition. It would be good for spares for him. I was given this bike a few years back by another VMX rider and as I have no need for it anymore we decided to give to BMCC F11 rider if he is interested.

my contact details are as follows

That's mighty generous! :)

If the bloke in question doesn't step foward, then I'll put my hand up as a fellow F11 owner.
The good thing about telling the truth is that you don't have to remember what you said.

I live in Brisbane and I have an F11 vmx'er. Can I have 3rd dib if prior dibs are unsuccessful? ;D the guy you saw at Nudgee was probably Steve Cox ;)

hey Brian,
i know stuff all about the Kwacka's but at the last meeting at BMCC a guy on a pre~75 250 Kawasaki broke his shoulder/collarbone in a first turn incident.
i'm unsure of his name but he may be having a rest for a while.
Shoreline or one of the other BMCC members may know his name.
it was quick off the line thats for sure.

Hi Brian, the rider was  #35 Steve Cox, unfortunately he broke his colar bone in three places that day, Michael Bamford got in contact with him, and passed your details on :) good on you Brian!

Keep Smiling :)

If I remember the F11 correctly, it might be best for both of you to give them away. :)
The only bloke who could ride them was Peter Pleon in his days before he moved to Suzukis.

Steve won an Aussie title on his F11 a few years back and it fairly rips. Mine whilst primarily stock goes pretty well. With a little work on the engine you can have a gun Pre'75 250 that will out handle near everything in the field, head and shoulders above the DT's, TS's and XL's of the era ;)
