BOOK of CD7: request for help ...
« on: June 16, 2010, 11:14:11 am »
Hi All,
I'm going to produce a color booklet as a souvenir of CD7.   It'll take me months.   But I'll need support, please.
REQUESTS:
A/   May I please "assume" permission from all who post CD7 pix, that I may draw down from your pix, and resource your posts?   Rather than seek permission, it would streamline things for me if I am allowed to go ahead without first asking various posters.
B/   Please - if any of you have some favourite pix or notes, receipts paraphernalia ... would you send to me as jpegs?   By far the easiest way is via email.   My email address is:
[email protected]
C/   Likewise, any issues or questions, could you please email me direct?

I cannot tell what size yet, but I imagine around 80 pages, A4 full-colour.   Incoming content will dictate eventual size.

Hoping you are all behind me on this endeavour.
With thanks,

Roger

Hey Rog,
I will only buy a copy if you put an image of you piloting the sidecar on the cover… I can still see the whites of your eyes!!  ;D

Rog....I'll try and get together as much paraphernalia and photos of CD7 from a Klub Kevlar perspective over the next few days and send it off to you ASAP. Unfortunately I didn't get many photos before my camera chucked a wobbly but I'm certain many of the gang  will have plenty to pick from. If the content and quality is as good as  Skidmarks 1&2 this should be a pearler. ;D

Hey Roger, great concept but we';; all need to be kept at to get it done.
Thanks again for piloting the Wasp for me but if you use the club340 poster for inspiration we may need to swap the exspressions from the drive and passenger over :D
What sort of dollars will the book be as I'll add it to the xmas list.

I hope to keep the cost down as low as possible.   If I keep size at A4 landscape, hopefully around $10 inc postage.   It will be cost price, by the way.   Have just sent off print quote request.   Am thinking 100 or 200 copies, colour of course.

If and when it gets made, I may ask for representatives to become pimp dealers.   If I could send out bundles of mags to key people (to distribute among their crew), that would save some sanity on my part.
