Stripped bolt thread in casing
« on: June 09, 2010, 06:33:49 pm »
Hi,

I have a bolt that has stripped the thread out of the engine casing from the clutch cover side.
What the best way of fixing this age old problem...?

Regards  ....   ??? ??? ???

I used a thing called a keysert? (I think they are made by recoil) on my yz. It worked well you don't have to buy the recoil kit you just need a tap the next size up and a hammer to tap in the locking tabs.
