Bugger...just got home from work to find out that Rossi has broken his leg in practice. :(
Compound...Tibia.
He will miss his first race since 1996.

Very bad 'break' for the Italian Stallion - or Macaroni Pony if you are not a fan.

Well there goes my interest quota for the next few races, depending on how quickly they patch him up. No offence to "Our Casey" but he's a dull as dogshit. I really hope Vale's back as soon as possible.

They said 4 weeks but that would be Sachsenring, last place you want to return with a dodgy leg then a week after that is Laguna Seca, which means realisticly the return ride would be Bruno after the 4 week summer break.

They don't get paid to be peronalities they get paid to ride, the last 10 mins of QP2 they were all on the limit. Lorenzo, Pedrosa and Stoner are al out to prove who is top dog now.

how long was Doohan out with his first big break, just out of interest? He came back to racing with his leg still with open wounds and the strength of cooked spaghetti.

Wow, who would have believed it :o. Val has probably been the safest non-crashing top flight rider of all time. I would have rated this fact as the best part of any claim by him, or his supporters, for him to be considered The Greatest of All Time.

If you read this Val, I;m sorry to hear it. Get well soon mate.  ;) :).

High siding on the way into the corner???  That's unusual.  I wonder what happened - seized - release?

That will probably 'gift' the championship to Lorenzo - barring accident ::).

230 Grands Prix in a row, first one he's missed since 1996. Some record !
