M99 is Peter Milgate, i had a couple of good races with him when he was on Husky.
55 would be Stewy McLachlan.
Looks like some of the shots are from the '78 Qld Titles held out the back of Beenleigh, a couple of the other shots appear to be Tivoli.

M99 is Peter Milgate, i had a couple of good races with him when he was on Husky.
thanks for the confirmation John.
Milgate was a mate of my brothers years ago.
i first saw him bashing around on an old MR175 Honda before he got onto the Husky's through Paul Rooneys.
cool pics.

Stewy McLachlan was my hero growing up along with my brother doug they batt led it out all through juniors I watch him crash at bundy in race 1 and then again in race 2 when he didn't get up it was the sadest day Ive had at the track, the photo of stewy jumping down into the gully is the track near shaws pocket rd Beenleigh down from newy's place I think the promoter on the day was taken away by police something to do with no approval to run the meeting by the owners. It was a good day for me I won the qld mini bike titles and second place was a guy from wheel standers who became a top brisbane bullets player? I must admit most mini bike riders back then didn't ride ACU my. First real race aginst the fast guys was feb 1981 at conodale with Fryberg and Trengrous man they where fast
The top photo at Tivoli on the maico, could that be Kevin Moretimer.

I lived at Redcliffe and saw Stewy practicing his jumps out on the mud flats.
There was this truck loading ramp that we used to jump off.
I could do about 5 feet , learn,t to slide on the mud though . Hoot.
Watchin Stewy jumping one day and after he left we went and measured his longest jump.
Would you believe that it measured 150 feet. :o :o :o
The ramp was sorta flat so he would hit it flat out. Scarey stuff
I was in the Redcliffe club but don,t remember meeting him.

Tony i think it was 1980 Mr MX at Jilliby where Stewart was pulling holeshots. He went on to win that round then broke his wrist at Tivoli not long after and was out for the year.
Kev was number 030 back then.. That looks like Alex K on #22 KX?
