-57 Maico
« on: May 31, 2010, 06:39:54 pm »
Hello.

Found a -57 Maico M175 this weekend. It's a up-pipe model so it must be a GS. Does anyone have pics/info on this, it isn't much to find on the web.

Best Regards

It looks a lot like the red one, but the sidecover is different. It goes over the pipe, and has room for a numberplate on top. Also I think the pipe sits a bit higher, but not as high as the black one. My bike is black with red seat, and all plated gastank.
Problem is the guy just gave away the engine to someone making a go-cart, I'm trying to get it back at the moment.
It's a rusted barnfind, they've cut the rearfender to make a motocrosser, othervise it seems ok.
I'll get up a pic if I can make it a complete bike.

If you put that pipe on the red -57 with a different right sidecover you are pretty close. Thanks for the help! I'll go and try to get the engine... ;)
