something chinese to make it move and would need a pair  70 to 90 each
I'm getting one for the front of my 125 as well. They are about $100 on eBay but got one for about the $70 mark. Hopefully picking it up by the weekend.

I know a bloke who was friends with a bloke at his local tip and would tell him if any bikes were dumped there. It paid off when someone dumped an unused Dick Mann Specialties TT500 frame kit, with the footpegs still in a plastic bag tied to the frame

genuine HO story... local shitkarter here had a hot XY(or XW who really cares) ute. let young son drive (Idiot....!!!) it was written off..as young sons do....

so ol mate says "lets find an xy body and put the ute motor in it" as a nice father / son project

so at the pub some mook says "theres and old XY body in the creek up there..."

so off they go and yep under a HQ wagon is a rusty XY... they winch the HQ off it and drag it home for a full clean and check over ...rusty bucket of poooh... turned out to be one of Fred Gibsons race cars!. no crap..

some guy had bought the xy when the team had gone to the XC car. he put the race motor in his hot ute and chucked the body into the creek!

after an expensive resto, they took it to a historic race and some of the old team mechanics confirmed its history..genuine car

A mate of mine looked at a XW which had a 6cyl in a rip off car yard at homebush. he saw the tacho in the dash, looked underneath saw a 9 inch, then looked at the tag JG33! No shaker etc. Quickly called his brother who grabbed $1500 and then purchased it. He then rebuilt the car, it turned out to be a XW Phase 2 1/2 so a late model phase 2...

Nice find, but do the right thing and leave them hanging on the shed wall. They offer very little ankle and lower leg support. Yes, they were the boots to have in the day(compared to army surplus flying boots etc).Boots have come a log way since then.
If you intend to do any serious riding, buy a pair of modern style boots(good second hand will do) and save yourself a lot of doctors bills. 8)
