Last year they had the canteen running all the time. Steak sandwiches, burgers. hot dogs etc.

Not sure if the boozer was open all day though.

The bar was run by the Sunshine Coast Motorcycle Club as I recall.  Catering was courtesy of local school - breakfast through dinner. Cant recall when the bar opened....or when it closed for that matter :) :) Also can't recall if there was anyone providing massage, physio or chiropractic services ....probably would make a killing if there was ;D ;D ;D

Catering
The event will be fully catered on-site by the Conondale School P&C, for breakfast lunch and dinner on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.  They cooked up a storm last year and everyone was impressed with both the range of great food on offer and the prices.  Beer will also be available for sale at the venue.

It might just be a general deterrent for the new comers,as most venues don't allow glass.
Its the usual event insurance clause  :-\  ;D  8)

No, it's not the usual insurance clause.......Sunshine Coast wanted it included as last year they found glass all over the place.  Some of the areas where people were camped, is at other times, part of a track.  Would you like to have glass on track you're riding?  Neither does the Club.  They couldn't see most of it until they were slashing and that made even more of a mess.

So glass is being discouraged for that reason.

Thanks

Ken

Fair enough - it's a shame a few dickheads have ruined it for everyone - I guess that's the way of the world

There won't be searches at the gate or anything that draconian, nor will it be confiscated, nor will there be 'glass police'.  After last year, the Club is just trying to discourage glass, they are aware it can't be stopped completely.
