Need Help Identifying this Front Hub

[IT400C]

This front wheel is on one of my IT400C's but it's not the correct hub for the bike.  Can anyone tell me what it's off?  I have no idea....

everything else look the same as the standard early IT/TT front hub, but those stiffeners aren't there on the standard hub...

My IT hub doesn't have the 9 ribs - the MXer's do.

I'm not sure if mine has 2 or 3 prong speedo drive. I know that Yammy have a lot of little variation between hub and backing plates - what seems compatible doesn't always work out .

What are you particularly worried about?

it's a 322 hub first appearing on the DT/RT2MX Yamaha's and spilled over to the YZa/b 250/360,MX250/360a,MX250/400b, YZ250/400c and then they threw in the speedo drive thus changing things.
can i have it?

Ya got the wrong speedo drive I would say .

My MX250 doesn't have the speedo drive notches cast in.

they are a pretty cool hub mostly because they're the "true" MX style with no speedo drive and they just look cool but dimension wise, they're exactly the same as the later 1K7 "speedo" hub.

Yeah, John explained it to me....  It's wasted on the IT400C, besides, it's no use to me without the speedo tangs...  I may not run the speedo on the second one, but it'd be nice to be able to.

The pictured hub is a 322 hub, as Vandy said, but it has been hacked to kinda-of accept a later IT-type speedo drive.

The 322 hubs were fitted to RT2MX, DT2MX, all MX250/360/400, YZ250/360A, YZ250/360B, YZ125/250/400C, YZ125X, and the first year or two of TT500s.

The 1K7 hub is identical, but has the three speedo prong drives and is missing the nine little webbs on the non-brake side.

The 2A6 hub (early monoshock DT125/175) is also identical, but has no speedo drive prongs and slighlty different webbs inside the brake drum.

And to be a complete train spotter, the YZ-K hubs (sorry code forgotten - 23X?) are all the same dimensions but look different from the outside.

FWIW, my MX250A went through scrutiny at the Nationals with a 1K7 front hub - and the scrutineer definitely noticed (and stirred me up about it, the bastard!).
