The only thing i heard from someone who did go was that the Dobies crashed their new Jawa and came off in a big way.

Yes your right talked to Bret today, told me Hamish has a broken collar bone and plenty of bruising out of action for about 3 months and Bret is bruised but ok I wished them a speedy recovery.

At the momoent we are talking to Tivoli(Ipswich), Echo Valley(Toowoomba) and maybe Conondale but we needed to set a date as MA wouldn't(couldn't) commit just yet so Rocky has set the date and we will sort the details out later.
Push comes to shove I'll have it in my front yard!!

I would love to have it at Nudgee as the club supports us and we need to do the same. However the circuit would not suit the moderns at all so unless we can add a few table tops, whoop sections and cannon jumps we can't run there.

So how do the older bikes do the track if it has the modern obstacles?

We have big jumps, table tops, doubles, and whoops at our track in Moranbah but that doesn't stop Matt and I from flying around on his Wasp. It's only 12 hours drive north. :oThere goes that idea. :'(

We need a track that is similar to Warrnambool, fairly smooth with easy doubles and tabletops and plenty of turns of all types-no one had any problems with that circuit and the racing was great. Either that or a more natural terrain track where it's the same for all from peewee to modern.
Echo Valley would be my pick as it is a bit of everything on the side of a very good hill where as Conondale is probably too far out to attract 'new' spectators.
Tivoli is similar to Warrnambool and they have been good enough to say they would do some mods to help have the event.
