next BMCC race day 16/5/10 raubers rd nudgee.track will be in great condition currently being repaired.BRING A BAG OF GRASS SEED TO PUT ON YOUT FAVOURITE BIT OF THE TRACK.get your pre entries in dont have to pre pay just makes life easy if we have less entries on the day to sort out it is easier to scratch an entry than add one makes russell`s life more pleasent on the day thanks robin ricketts president bmcc

a major working bee was held on sat.thanks to steve new ,simon broad,popeye,mick chadwich for bringing trucks,back hoes,tractors,bobcats .the track has been ripped,graded,more fill.all nasty pot holes have been cleaned up,jumps repaired should be some fast lap times now.remember get your enties in -help out russel

Hmmm, can I pre-enter, pre-join the club, and pre-apply for a one day licence???

you can pre enter .pre join the club,pre day license on monday if the time continum is working right pre enties makes the race sec job easier on the day  dont need to pre pay but yes you can join the club and enter on the day no problem. we arnt going to turn you away if you hant entered.
EML do buy your own grass seed we are serious helps bind the track and gives the soil something to break down into compost which will keep dust down and more importantly save us money on watering

is there any particular variety of "seed' we should be aiming for?
if i turn up with a chaff bag of "sunflower seeds", will i be turned away?

Has anyone done a study on the traction characteristics of individual variaties  .  Couch would be good as it doesn't grow as high / less mowing

I say the golfers can have our tracks for a while and we'll have their courses - some sort of swap for a few months

yes then they could be true legends ! actually vandy instead of grass sed you could look for some tobacco seeds could grow that in a nice spot in the pits
