TS185 Engine
« on: May 05, 2010, 09:47:46 pm »
TS 185 engine, preferably 1974 vintage.  Will be rebuilding top and bottom end, so doesnt need to be complete and in running order.
Located in Brisbane, will be going to CD7 so could pick up from there.

Stewy.

Well thanks, thats a start.  Just have to find the accessories to go with it: clutch, crankshaft, gears, etc.  :D

Anyway it looks great and I will take it thanks.  Will be at CD7 - look for the white van marked Lloyd Lawrence Electronics. My riding number is 138.

Cheers,
Stewy.

Thanks for the tip Michael - will have a look at that one.  I have two TM125s - one engine isnt finished but complete ready to build.  But I cant race them both so thats why the TSM185 idea.

Hey CG - yes I was going to mention that I partly got the idea from you.  You used the term 'TSM185' on one of your posts and thought, well why not !!

Bill - you arent coming over to Classic Dirt this year ?  Even so I guess would be hard to bring the engine as carry on luggage.  If you can ship with that bike I definitely want the engine: 150 plus shipping sounds fair.

Thanks,

Sure why not, you could hardly get homologation papers for one could you.
If yours went twice as fast as everyone else, we would make you start with your hands on your helmet ;)
