Honda Holeshot

Well me old mate Craig, you are not going to like this news!!

Was up at Coles creek yesterday and was a little the worst for wear after a down hill get off at the Magoo ride (the day before) and had the 82 480 just sitting there after practice (yes, yes im a nancy boy and stayed on the 89 as it was easier to ride).

Well I said to my Suzuki and Kawasaki loving mate Holeshot hey mate to you want to throw a leg over the 480? well f&$* me he was as keen as mustard to get onboard.

Race time and no practice and a great start all looking good 

First lap getting use to it 

Second lap gee Holes getting up them 

Third lap his up for the task and rounds em up for a win!! 

Back in the pits to greeted him and said nice ride Holey one and then that when it happened, quote "man I just love these four speed Honda's" unquote

Well to say I was a little taken back that someone from the S and K camp would say those words but in thinking of the moment in reflection one always says what is true to the heart at points of true happiness.

And Craig if that was not enough for you he was wearing a Honda shirt around the pits latter on

Bring on CD 7 and let the games begin

ha ha very funny
yes i liked riding the 480
but i like all big bores it reminded me of my rm500
4 speed and it had all the go fast bling on it
to nearly get it up to standard suzuki and kawasaki specs
and i was suffering withdrawal symptoms as my kx and rm 500 are out of action
and all i had to ride was my rm370 which holeshoted most of the races
rode it in the all in pre 90 85 evo etc was fourth to the corner ha ha 
but if someone offers you a 500 on a fast flowing grass track its hard to say no
