no worries Roger but I'll pass thanks ;) I once entertained some wild notion of doing a full resto on a '69 TS but the reality is I have more than enough bikes/project now and adding more would be total insanity ;) cheers

These old TS Suzukis can be made into pretty competitive pre '70 class bikes if you're pretty good with a hacksaw and grinder to knock as much weight as you can out of the frame and know a good porting bloke. They're very similar to the DT1 in as far as what needs to be done and if everything is done properly the end result is a pretty fast piece of kit.
Below is the ex Eddie Brooks TS that was one of the bikes to beat in its class back in the nineties. It's now owned by Sydneys Ray Atkins and ridden by his granddaughter Kathleen.

Those are the old TS 'clunker' forks Freaky, Not worth fitting to anything except a restoration project as they are pretty much hopeless anywhere except on the road. The TS tank has totally different mounting to the TM tank, it could be made fit but it would take a little work to make another rear mount. They aren't a small tank by any means either ;)

Seems i was right, just got a call asking me do i want to buy the motor, as its sounds to fast for the kids go kart idea.

Still has the frame attatche to it so i guess it could be saved ???    What else does this motor fit, incase i have somethign easier to slip it into, sounds like its running fine thou.  Still what amoron would have been at least worth a few bucks more if he had just sold it as it was, and with the money he made, bought a proper go kart motor.

Your frame is a later 250j/k frame from memory Stew. Not sure the early '69/'70 motors drop straight into the later frames..quite possibly they might but I've never tried to know ;)
