I think Popeye said we could bring the sidecar out for a lap or two at lunchtime but we both have the shits with it all at the moment so we'll most likely take a rain check. I see him tonight to pick up my wet gear from the weekend so I'll know more then.

EML not sure if Roxburgh is the right track for sidecars, can be very tight in places.I thought the committe was still discussing the proposal that Popeye put and hadn't as yet made a decision.

What most folks don't realise is that even the ISDT used to have sidecars and if anyone was at BMCCs Beaudesert meeting early last year they would see that there's not too many tracks we can't get around.
Roxbourgh is Redcliffes old paddock from the mid seventies and I remember it quite well. I don't reckon the track is a problem however getting a good field has always been the issue and we wouldn't want to let the huge crowd down.

Fair point.I was at the BMCC meet a few weeks ago when 3 sidies lined up,so you would probably need at least that number to make it worthwhile.

Yes numbers are always the problem. It all stems from the fact that when we get older we are supposed to move to sidecar racing in our retirement so come on you old buggers --get on board!!!

If someone can locate that DR500 sidecar frame that went to Beerwah many moons ago, I have a engine etc ready to slip into it. That would make another on the grid.

Nick has located thet one but they want to hang on to it for some strange reason.
I have another one in the wings and Ronnie has an XT600 he wants me to build up- so there will be some coming along.

Geoff Udy was very good mates with Geoff Eldridge from ADB and he talked him into doing a bit of a story on it I think. I would love to see a copy of it as I used to passenger for Geoff on the old girl. It was a very good thing and that's why I want to build another so if we can catch up so I can get a look.

Odd1, Rocksberg is a QVMX club day track on Caboolture River Rd.  QVMX runs pre 90.  All you need to run is a membership and MA competition license - all available on the day.  It is a lot of fun so come along. ;D ;D

Mate sorry about any miss understanding, but l am going to meet with some Guys at roxberg this weekend and maybe, hopefully we might be able to do a demo at the coles creek round to see if the competitors and crowd dont mind the sidecars having a ride, but nothing is organised just yet.
IN IT FOR THE FUN OF IT. LIKE MR NIKE SAYS JUST DO IT.
