Kawasaki engine No ID

I'm trying to find out what motor this is for a friend.
The engine No is k2e-900062

Any assistance or ideas on where to look would be great

1974 KX250. Their engine numbers range from K2E900001-K2E903676.

I have a soft spot japanese mxers with aluminium tanks. Two stroke classic Dirt Track...

Oldyzman, unfortunately it’s just a motor, no indication of where the rest may have gone. My mate has found it and is bringing it home from his hols.

The motor in question will be for sale. It is not in a frame so can’t be run. It turns over freely and has compression. Gear lever and kick start are attached. I‘ll double check but I think it has the carb and ignition.

The big question, A 74 KX250 motor, what’s it worth?

I think its worth a bit to someone with a bike to suit. All depends on condition i guess
