Just as an outside observer and I'll be honest here, Riding a Sidecar, let alone Swinging off one, always seemed like going over to the dark side to me.
Considering this Class of racing appears to have the least number of participants, you guy's look to be self imploding from where I stand.
Obviously I don't know any of the History here, but grudges don't help.
Build a bridge boy's, or should I say "Girls".

Thanks for your kind word Curly , its usually not so much the actual racers that cause the trouble , its the hangerons and bored people looking for action.  BUT , muppet show is over ,I will try not give them fodder anymore , then they can move on and bug someone else  :D

Now you see I haven't come out in support of anyone in particular, to be honest I have close bloodlines that have had a long involvement the Sidecar history in & around Syd, mainly in the dirt. As a whole the Classic Dirt Track & MX scenes needs a strong and competitive Sidecar class.
Whether your a "Racer" or a supporter doesn't really matter.
Unite for the cause and enter your contraptions in the Dirt Track titles at Griffith in Sept.

Does the driver wear a mouth guard to stop from bashing his chops over the jumps?

Its interesting how you say 'drive a sidecar' i thought all sidecar people referred to it still as 'riding' and not 'driving' as its still a motorcycle but it just has 3 wheels. I always see that its non sidecar people that say you drive a sidecar and not ride it, i always refer to it as rider and passenger or swinger and not driver and passenger, but sometimes still hear people say drive/driver. Is it a european thing do they call it driving?

bist einen fahrer und bi-fahrer auf Europe.
yeah I guess that's where it comes from or it might just be me as I have no comprehension of how anybody can ride or drive one of the old twin shock monsters. A lightweight is of course another story altogether.
