Nice find Paul I tried to buy that bike about two years ago (XL350), but the old owner would not ship it. Here is the old ad copy.

XL 350 (420CC) Bought for a project bike. Just don't have the time to work on it.
It runs but needs work. I think it's a C&J chassis. Late 70's forks. S&W Shocks.

I've been watching that XR500.. would be a cool bike to own. It has some history, owner John Hateley was a big dirt track star in the 70's.

I call in and see Tony (sudman) every trip through thru palmie and have a coffee , he is getting weaker all the time but still seems to be in good spirits & takes a keen interest in my progress with the '74 C&J XL412 that I bought off him (the black one on page 1 of this thread)
Tony is a top bloke , the world needs more sudmen
