Well I have been very busy at work so the shed is just slowly getting done but I have got all the gib up and gibstopped as well as sanded. The parts store room is lined with ply and ready for making the sleeves. The skirting, scocia and window architraves are all done. The electrical circuit breaker board is wired and the storm water all plumbed in. I have put a sink unit in and just need to connect the water and waste up and I put a small electric instant hot water system under the sink. I dont know how good it will work but if it warms the water a little I'll be happy with that. I have added TV connections in the workshop area and office, and I have enough galv pipe to run the length of the garage with air outlets either end of the benches and a few extras. I had a quick count up of electical outlets and lights etc, I think I have about 50 power outlets, 3 of them hanging power points and 2 doubles on the work benches. The lighting is 10 double flouros and 4 small bulkhead lights, plus exterior lights.

All going good I should be painting the walls this weekend. Any painters in Aussie need a cheap holiday in NZ  ;D

Enjoy DJ-there will be some nice bikes rolled out of that shed for the next 50 odd years, if that 1974 Noguchi Hot-up kitted bike is anything to go by  :-*
cheers Alison

Surely a bloke like you would be able to find a painter around somewhere DJ  ::) ::) ;D
Looking for YZ250C parts NOS if possible

What's that in the middle a 'Yamaha riders only powder/make up room' or the dyno room?

The ply lined room is just a store room for parts and crap, you know how it is Lozza, you buy a bike and then you buy another for parts, well thats what the store room is for, once I build the shelves  ;)   or it could be the room to lock up TMB when he finally goes mad with his bike buying addiction  ;D

Brent, the word mortgage slams to mind  :'(

Tony, I've been looking, but a good painter costs the earth. Well thats what I keep telling my boss, but it falls on deaf ears.  :-\    Looks like I'll have to just paint it myself for the love of it.  ;)

I know that word well DJ and I'm about to add to it as the minister of finance has approved a garage/shed/workshop as she wants my "stuff" out of sight.

If it's within reasonable limits I'd rather have it now and pay for it later than be too old to use it when I could afford it! :o

And I'm still jealous!

Hey DJ,
Nice work old son!! Very jealous!!

But if the ply lined store room is for TMB, perhaps it would be nice to put some padding on the walls… possibly some lambs wool?
We don't want him injuring himself.  ;D

I found a painter, he's a bit rough and doesnt like sanding but since none of you blokes wanted to come over for a working holiday he'll have to do.
I put a couple of ali angles on the external corners so that they wouldnt get damaged when I was moving bikes into and out of the workshop area.
The colour is a boring very light grey, but I think a few posters and photos will help.

I have tried the projector on the new colour and it seems to work fine.
