ATV / Snowmobile Shocks
« on: March 21, 2010, 07:19:31 pm »
Has anyone tried some of the ATV/Snowmobile shocks from OS? Some are cheap compared to bike shocks and look the part-  probably lighter springs needed but seem cheap enough to cover that.

YEp, check Snow mobiles carefully for E2E length and rate also Rust, lots are rusty and the shaft rooted, but if they are works one's cheap to fix up if right price.  usually find cheap fox too, but shafts also rusty

ATV same as above, but better option usually standard banshee are about 350 mm E2E but check as some are 17"18" and other wierd sizes in them depending on the front Arms.

Works sell bike shocks for like $300 offline, so if you going down the Snow/ATV track youll want to pay less than $100.  also can be sent in a flat rate box ( fits 4 shocks for $50.00 about)

Dont worry about warrenty you wont get that even on new shocks  ;D ;D
