Your attitude is poor on this one Ross and anyone else who is overly emotive on the issue. For whatever reason it's the comittees decision so we all have to live with it regardless of how we feel, (I don't like it either). If even one of those comittee members read your "fug the BMCC" comment, you've probably (most probably) destroyed any chance of ever going back to Ravo while they are in control. Your's and the other agro comments are far from constructive and do absolutely nothing to help the situation. It's a lot of time, work & money to run a VMX meeting on any track and it's attitudes like this that make it too hard. Instead of inciting the agro, perhaps type something that may help, and look forward to getting back there next year. By the way I'm told the track will be very vintage friendly this weekend, I'll report later on after I've been out for a look.
This next bit is for you Ross.
You've paid your entry and your club membership, so get over your little hissy fit and come along and have some fun VMX racing at Ravenswood on the weekend. The only person you will be hurting is yourself and you could end up saying "I wish I'd been there". Forget the whole Noel Clarke issue, it's an opportunity to ride your VMX'er against other VMX'ers on a great track, and possibly the only chance you'll get this year. Don't let your out of whack emotions get in the way of having some VMX fun. I for one would like to see you there.
Having said that if you're really that wound up about it I'll gladly organise to have your money refunded.
