The only triple jumps he would have been doing are the hop, skip & jump.

another day spent at the site and we have the track bunted and the jumps mostly done.
the corners have been fortified with tyres to stop the pegs being knocked out and the start, finish shute, pit area have been sorted out.

heres a pic of fatboy showing off his design

and another one that I reckon is a bit high for the old XL350

this jump may end up different due to track design rules.
it was planned to have pre 78 bikes going over the smaller one(left) and the later bikes over the bit bigger one on the right

bit too close to the first jump

the weather can be changable, this black cloud came over and dumped a heap on us just before we finished

we have used the site twice before in different areas at this time of year
(about 800 metres and 1000 metres in each direction )
and hopefully it is the same sort of dirt that pushes up nice berms in the corners as the day goes on.
as this paddock has just been used for a carpark, there are strips that are compacted hard and without much grass= greasy if rained on ;D

the first few races until the grass gets mulched is always a bit slippery ;)
but its the same old story....its the same for every body and sorts the true riders out.

sometimes the fast riders just hit the ground faster and the slower riders (smarter) ride past them slowly as they are trying to restart thier bike or regain  breath.

just viewed the weather on TV,highland snow forcast for tuesday.
you better bring your thermals freaky.

FatBoy dont let those Northerners ride on that sort of land, you'll get over run with 'em buying up houses and moving down.
Sure looks like a great track, I'm looking forward to riding on green grass myself.... The WoodStock ENO classic is in 2 weeks time, T-off is when you arrive and the 19th is a par dozen.  ;D

You guys enjoy what looks to be a great CLASSIC NATIONAL MX event and post up lots of photos and videos please.

That looks as close to a natural golf course as we're ever going to see, great job lads. I raced the Nationals in 1981 just near Symmons Plains and the HOTTEST it got ALL WEEKEND, 2 forking degrees. A tad chilly, even for the Canberrans.

It's weather like that than can leave a brass monkey incomplete.
