Gidday guys been missing in action for a while with this meeting, sorry about that! Will get someone to post entry forms up next week.Had to get approvals from council and police to run the event under lights and this is now all OK. For something different this event is a one day/night event with racing from 10 in the morning to 10 at night. We havnt done a meeting under lights ever so please bear with us as we dont know what the results will be like but as usual we will do our best.Because this may be a one off we are making the event a Vintage Meeting with Club support racing. This means we run the Vintage as in the past but will mix it up with juniors and seniors on modern bikes in there own classes. Also have about 10 modern sidecars coming to add to the spectacle.Same deal as before part of your entry money will be Club membership so you can if you wish enter your pre 75 etc. in the modern classes if you want to.As this will be advertised locally we will be charging spectators admission to cover cost of lights so we are expecting a large crowd. Camping will most likely be over on the MX track if you need it.Ask questions and i will keep the answers coming.

Hi Donny,
Reading the entry,
it says once grids are full no more entries,
How many bikes to a grid
if enough entries in any class would you run Heats ,
( thinking If vintage  all powers also run in open all powers ) as you suggested in previous post
cheers

Gidday Noel that notation is more aimed at our own club members who dont normally pre-enter a club day. I expect we will be running heats and finals in a few events. The modern events are only a support for our vintage meeting and as such they will only get pionts towards the end of year championship. Thanks Doc for posting this for me.Dont have your club number as it all starts again as at the ist of January.

Thanks Donny,
was thinking of entering support race for an extra ride but would not want to displace a club member.
will enter any way and let you work it out,
Cheers

Coffs Harbour Day/night Vintage Dirt Track
The hard working crew from the Coffs Harbour MCC are at it again going out of their way to provide another great event for Vintage racers to compete in. Just to keep everyone interested they are trying something new to the club “ Racing under lights”
This should be a good thing to raise the profile of our sport as most locals are keen to come and watch the action under lights.
I hope the clubs efforts are not in vein and we get enough Vintage racers return the favour and make the effort to compete.
I personally would love to see a full grid of big bores in the pre 85 class or are all you big bore owners to scared to open the throttle on the beasts?

One of the local Coffs MCC gun dirt trackers is keen to get involved in some vintage racing, it would be good to make up some numbers if anyone could spare a bike for him to ride. He is a sensible young bloke (as far as a 22 yr old can be) who races modern dirt track, MX and buckets. He has just spent his house deposit on a new Ducati 848. Anyone that wants to see one of their pride and joys on full noise sideways let me or Donny know and we will enter him in the appropriate class, thanks.
