Photography at Ravenswood Cup March 6 & 7?
« on: February 15, 2010, 09:38:40 pm »
I'm planning to go over to Ravenswood on the March long weekend to take a tonne of photos and sell them to try and add to the Noel Clarke fund.
There doesn't seem to be much interest in my other photography offer for Magoo, so I'm a bit worried I might be driving 8 hours each way and end up raising bugger all.
Anyone have any opinion on whether you think it might be worth it or am I better off just writing a cheque?
Maybe someone from the area might have an idea if the locals are into photos or not?
Thanks for any words of wisdom.

How about the Suzuki riders,Kawasaki riders etc could get a group photo session at CD7 or other events to bring the price down a bit each.  :P

Thanks for the support 414.
I reckon I'm probably worrying too much.
Worst comes to worst and 414 is my only customer, that's still a few bucks that Noel and family didn't have before and I get a weekend at the races.
Can't lose really............  ;D

But I am hoping we do better than that though.  ;)

Ok, here's the deal for the weekend.
I'll be there shooting my little heart out and will post all photos on the net a couple of days after.
Just go to www.barossaphotocompany.com.au and look for the link to 'Events' at the bottom of the page. Click on that to view and purchase photos.
Remember that all proceeds will go to the Noel Clarke Fund.

P.S. Can someone confirm that there will be racing for vintage classes on Sunday. Someone mentioned to me that there might have been only modern classes on Sunday in previous years.

P.P.S. Even if you're too tight to buy a photo  ;) come up and say g'day. I'd like to put more faces to names from here.  ;D

Thanks Freaky
It was quite a hard meeting to shoot. Because of the wet conditions, most guys were doing well to stay upright and therefore didn't have a lot of flare in their riding style.
Plus I shot with a long lens a bit too much I reckon. But like any kid with a new toy.............  ;)
