Maybe some billet parts you reckon'? Or a swingarm like on yours? Yeah. That'd be heaps better. Yeah and some black rims and canary yellow hubs. Some yellow tyres as well. Of course some fat bars. Give it about 14"s of suspension. Put a Metal Mulisha sticker on the front plate and shorten the rear guard.

If the swingarm is from 1978 then it has every right to be there. If Gaston Rahier could fit blue rims in 78 then why not. Otherwise it is just another dull RM125 albeit a new one.

There was a bike a while back in VMX mag that had been built up using the Rahier works bike as inspiration. I think it had a couple of actual works parts on it, swingarm etc.

The guy who built it put blue rims on it, but I can't find a picture of the original Suzuki works bike with blue rims. Doesn't mean it didn't exist of course.

I know the replica bike  :) i think thats hidded in a box in Newcastle these days  ::) but i wouldn't think Gastons bike would have had blue rims  ???

I really don't see a problem regardless of what colours are used on any bike as ultimately it's up to the individual and their ideals. Have myself a blue and yellow TM125 and I kinda like it 8) I can imagine what others must think but I'm not others and at least it's easy to spot amongst the other cookie cutters ;) Back in '77/'78 Lucas Reynolds ran all white RM's (Peter Stevens era) and for mine, even back then they looked great simply because they were something different 8)
