If you are going to use the longer forks than standard in the B40 you will need longer shocks to compensate so it will stear, had to do this on my B44 as I was using ceriani forks.

Standard i had 355mm on mine, when i put the Bultaco forks and triples on i went to 370mm

How much clearance do you need for the back sprocket so the shock doesn't hit the bottom of the sprocket would a fat shock fit ?
