There were a whole heap GYT bits for the DT1.  Don't know how they relate to the "GYT kit" or the 'off the showroom floor' DT2MX, but the listing I've got shows: barrel, head, piston, carb, muffler, front rim and spokes, blanking plugs, etc.

Interestingly, the list for the DT1 GYT bits is much shorter than the list for AT1 and RT1 GYT bits.

The good thing about telling the truth is that you don't have to remember what you said.

Go here

http://www.eurospares.com/graphics.htm

about half way down there are several article regarding lightweight Yammies. You should find inspiration and worthwhile info.

Firko should arrive on the scene shortly with tales of the 'DT fom Hell'.

Cheers, Graeme.

The DT1 was a neutral handling pig of a bike that did nothing well where as the DT1MX was a slighly lighter neutral handling pig of a bike that did nothing well but did it making more noise. ;D
