Greeves leading link fork bush replacement
« on: February 02, 2010, 06:40:11 am »
Hi all,

does anyone out there who has done this job have any tips? I'm specifically referring to the post friction damper, pre banana fork type forks. Pictures
of this type of fork can be seen on the Dot Demon thread (confusingly!), ie the ones on the beautiful white Greeves (MDS?) and the equally beautiful Hawkstone. Any comments gratefully appreciated.

Hi Mac, we are here to help, please call me on 0404188410, my MDS Greeves l had to do the same, you can still buy the metal lastic rubber for them, they will need to be press out and replaced, there is a way to do it without damaging them.
regards
David
