at 6ft 2 i would struggle to stand up ( look at the angle of my leg) as it is i have to ride on my right quad at such a step angle on my knee its hard work.  Im thinking making up a higher solo seat, but it still has the original banana seat and i reckon it looks too cool to change..... 


besides that im really a hack. Any one with a half a clue and maintain there bikes would have a chance against me.

With the side car in Evolution, we won the first heat, second in 2 and in the 3rd started loosing the gearlever andit locked into nuetral and the guy parked it, pity we would have made the final no probs and i reckon a poduim for sure we was on fire, ok he was i just moved around behind him trying to see where we were going   ;D

Hoony as i said real small pits, scrapy set up out of the 50's, Jarrah sleepers for the fence, all prity average. BUT ........ great track, great people, nice spot.   Longer straights than im used to and a little more slippery, they loved to water and it held it.
But yer if it wasnt 4.5 hours each way id go more often :O) too.

 Getting back to the Londonderry 5 ways, I rode there a few times, the one I remember best was last lap, leading the Senior 'b' last corner, coming onto the straight on my ex Debbo Beeza, looking over my shoulder to see how I was going then skidding down the track on my bum! That track was the hardest ground I ever sat on! Only a short track but fun.

if there was a speedway dynasty the colllins family would have to be up there, les, phil, steve and younger brother neil all riding at the top level.

I think the guy in the centre at the back is Ray Wilson?
The 2 on the far left, I have no idea.
I've just had a bit of a search, Def - Ray Wilson, the blonde dude could be John Davis?
And the little fella on the end, John Louis??
