Stan, going for that extra traction  :D

Now I see Lester behind you ......

Who is Landman dicing with?  Another Yamaha, but not sure of the rider.

Do you have the program from that year?

I don't know who the other Yamaha rider is with Mike. I had forgotten it was run over 2 legs and the crash was in the second leg. I have got the program with some results written in it. I will post it on a new thread tonight.

Regards
Stan.

Stan,

Had another look at the photos...it looks very much like Bash's riding style and his long helmet peak.  Cheers

Stan,

It is great to see these old programmes, and they bring back a lot of memories.

The scary part is that I am listed as an official at both the 1975 and 1977 events.

Do you know how long ago that was?

Cheers,

Great line-up of announcers in those days.  Obviously the club was very wealthy.  Didn't the first guy go on to be a TV celebrity or something like that......the name is very familiar  ???  ???  ::)  ::)

If you mean Ross Martin he was a high profile M.A. steward. Don't think he was a TV star but they seem to need the same attention. (sorry did I say that out loud)

Stan,

The  ;D was for Ross Martin and the  ::) was for me.  The  :-* was for any-one who might have felt offended.  ;)  ;)

Stan,  how come you still have all of those programs with the results written in?  Was it parents keeping the records or have you always been an avid recorder of events?

Why is it that you only realise what a good idea it would have been to keep programs when its way too late?    ???  ???

I think I have 2 old ones from the 70's somewhere, but I doubt that there are any results in them.  Will look tonight.
