I thought the radiator on one side was only on the firdt couple of models (not that I know stuff-all about Kawa's).

Nah, all of the water-cooled KX125s through the 80s had a single radiator - they only got the twin radiatorwhen they got the perimeter frame in 1990.

Drilled front disc rotor and rear drum also peg it as an 85 model (84 had solid disc, 86 had rear disc).

I can see the "K.I.P.S" cover on the left-hand side of the cylinder, this was only on the 1985 & on models. The 84 looks almost identical though.
