what was the stock sprocket sizes out of the shop and if you have a 250RD, what are you running now for mx?

manual says 14/54 - haven't got that far as to check mine out yet or change it?

14/54 is heaps low, all depends on the track, I would at least go 14/48 and see whether to go a 13 from there.
