JACK HOGG NO ON 20TH MARCH

just had a call from my brother the date is now 20th march for the jack hogg.it will be the first dirt track of the year for most of us.get your bike out and take it for a run om sat 20th march

Be there for the best dirt track of the year. The Jack Hogg has been the best kept secret in vintage racing and it looked like it wasn't going to happen for '10.  Thankfully a bit of behind the scenes lobbying by Jim and his brother Alan has convinced the club that the event needed to remain on the calendar so set aside March 20. All facets of vintage dirt track are featured including classic speedway. An added bonus is that it gives those taking dirt track tackle to the Bonanza a chance to sort out their bikes a fortnight prior to Broadford. 

We need to support events like the Jack Hogg Memorial or we run the strong chance of losing them. This could become the first big event in the resurgence of Classic Dirt Track in 2010.

That could be on the cards Mr Pine, I have been planning to go to Broadford 2 weeks after this but if I can have something ready in time, why not.

g,day i,d like to help get the dirttrack membership at surfair speedway club up and alive again i,m just an old rider and ex member of surfair when i was a kid ,any one interested ,if we could build up members we might be able to use the track for more meetings and practise days ,what do u think.thanks don

g day .any one know if entry form for the jack hogg out yet.also what classes ,maybe they could drop a heat in every class this year and have other classes eg.up to 200 cc enduro  evo class every one seems to have an old pe or it  ,xr in the shed  just a thought.

I did hear that Leanne(organiser) is under the pump time wise - working two jobs etc.
I understand that the entries are coming, albeit a little later than usual.
