I really like hybrid motorcycles and I have seen some inspiring creations.... but why did you colour co-ordinate your Lumpy masterpiece with the wheelie bin?  :D
Don't park it too near the bin Doc... or the council might take it away...  ;) :D ;D

Doc I don't know what these guys are going on about with your little Suzi twin there. You don't hear too many people bagging DT2s but I went riding my DT2 (trials tyres, 19" front wheel, rubber footpegs, road gearing, full road rego lighting) one day with a mate on his GT380 and he went everywhere I went and he looked more comfortable that I felt. ;)

:D :D :D I believe you David!! many years ago my mate and I would hop on our bikes to go trail riding out the back of Dayboro religiously every Sunday morning..nothing unusual about that I guess excepting he had an ol' GT860 deadcat and I had my Z650 :D :D his deadcat had more ground clearance than me but I had more steering lock and come to the open fire trails the 6fiddy kawa ruled the roost. More than once I flattened the 4-1 collector box but eh..fun fun fun and we never had to push them home once!!!  ;D

So you're a Dayboro rider too hey?
Our ritual Sunday ride was to cruise out to Samford (refuel), up the PEI road to Mt Glorious, much riding on fantastic hills in what is now National Park, down through the Lacey's Creek trials property to the shop at Dayboro (refuel and lunch), then out to Mt Pleasant for more fantastic hills, back to Dayboro for more fuel, then back over Mt Glorious (via the road this time) to home. One notable thing was that despite discussing how many times people had fallen off at one notorious wet clay spot on the PEI road, at least one rider would fall off on each ride (adrenaline? testosterone? lack of skill?)

:D it would seem there is a place in vmx history for the 2 stroke twins ;)

here's an updated pic and this is how it'll probably stay except I will add a chain, some airfilters and a tail light when I find one :P then I just need to wire it all up and she's ready..for what I don't know! :D

Mick, 250 or 450? if 250 then I have no idea but if it's a 4fiddy then a dirt track sidecar springs instantly to mind ;)

god, I haven't looked at my creation today but I just caught a glimpse in the above photo and it is truly a fugly woftam. I love it when a plan comes together ;D
