they are just trying to bull shite you - all the TM riders here in the West have no need of such protection  ;D

well lets just say they're never seen at the front of the pack.  have been known to drink sherry before having apperitifes, and when they break down, it's alway near a nice shady spot or next to the pits!!

I know exactly who you're talking about, mullet, riding pants, full of socks, yep he'd have double the protection on the tank, never need it,  But it's that bogan image!!
