As long as the Rm has a common number of spokes (36) usually, should be O.K. , but as mentioned the hole angle is different between a new bike and a vintage, usually because one has a disc hub and the other has a drum hub.

I just took my hubs to Spoked Wheel Services in Perth - told him the model and presto job was done - I used SM Pro rims.

Freaky - I got spokes, rims and tyres 2 sets so couldn't advise an individual price.  I know SM Pros are cheaper than Excels though.

Gidday D Project,

I got Excels for my YZ250H from Vintage Iron in the US.  Less than $500 US delivered to my door.  Just tell him what model you have and he drills them to suit.  They relaced and fitted on beautifully. HTH
Looking for YZ250C parts NOS if possible

The only triple jumps he would have been doing are the hop, skip & jump.

I am pretty sure I paid less than that for SM Pros local?

Freaky,
I came across these rims on UK evilbay when looking for a set for my YZ125G. He reckons "they're drilled to suit my old bike" and quoted 130 quid (approx $245 AUD) a set posted to Oz. I was thinking of trying a set but haven't gone any further at this stage, anyone have any info or thoughts on these rims?

Too bad if aren't drilled to suit. Can't send them back. $220 for a set of front and rear rims delivered . 0411194141 George. Tell him Brad sent you! He is in Victoria (don't hold that against him!).
Same as SM Pro. They will have to have the off set changed to suit drum brakes.

Hi Guys,

I used these rims on my white framed Kawasaki trials bike, and my Dad used them on his RL250 (see the trials section for pics). The holes aren't drilled perfectly to suit twinshocks, but they are not bad. I think this guys ships direct from the manufacturer in Thailand. Great value IMHO - $410 delivered for 2 sets of rims.

Cheers,
Ben
