Cheap project CT1, DT175, AG100.
« on: December 11, 2009, 09:41:55 pm »
1. Yamaha AG100. 1982 model, I think? Has earlier AG175 motor fitted - heaps of compression. Needs flywheel, should run. I've been quoted $75 for a flywheel, haven't shopped around.
I'd planned on tarting it up and flogging it for $600-odd on Epay, but meh.
Has a few new bits, including brand new, genuine front brake cable.
Original 100 motor included (needs rebore, and big end).

$100ono.

2. 1975 Yamaha DT175B (yes, I know its got a 125 tank on it).
Matching numbers bike.
Good compression, should run but has no spark due to crusty points. Known good stator plate included.
New sprockets fitted, needs chain (I've probably got a reasonable used chain that I can include, but I'd prefer to see a new chain on the new sprockets).
Speedo/tacho and some wiring missing, but generally unmolested.

Plenty of other bits and pieces around the place - can do some sort of super deal with the buyer if they want more.

Can include an incomplete 175C spares bike if needed (see 4th pic below), and/or sound 175A fuel tank (very clean inside - see 5th pic below).

$150 ono. Sold.

3. 1969 Yamaha CT1.
Bought in a rush of blood a few months ago...  ::)
Its an early one with the steel fork leg lowers.
Frame and swing arm are strcturally sound, piston-port motor seems like its a worthwhile rebuilder. Matching numbers.

$50 ono.

Plenty of other bits and pieces around here - can do some sort of super deal with the buyer if they want more spares...

All bikes are in Yass, in southern NSW.

I will be in Tempe, Sydney at some stage this weekend (probably Sunday morning), and can bring any/all of these up with me, for a genuine buyer.

Nathan.

Jimson...I don't think the CT1/AT1 tank fits a DT1. I wrongly tried to fit one to my resto DT1 when I was building it and remember being puzzled as to why its didn't fit until the penny dropped.

DT175 provisionally sold (pending payment).

Tim, there *might* be a trip to Shepparton in the reasonably near future, if you're still interested in the CT1 and/or the Aggy.

Mick, I'll need to check the condition of the later tank, and will get back to you.
