Yeah....I know it should'nt be in here but just in case there are any other sickos out there........

Honda CX500.....runs well....no reg but close to roadworthy.....Koni shocks....new michy tyres.....

$850.....or trade for pre 75 250 or bigger......(still looking for another XL motosport as well)

Thats my motor in pieces.........305 kit arrived today......now the work begins.

I know it's sad, but I always liked the CX's.  :-\
Never even ridden one but I tend to be attracted to 'Ugly Ducklings'.

Yours looks pretty neat Jack. Where are you located?

Just sold it......quickest sale ever......musta been too cheap....... :)

I like the ""oddballs" to mate and have owned a few in the past......Yam Vmax.....Kawa....Drifter....etc  etc....there's no accounting for taste....... ::)

easy to get the motor out only 4 bolts,the 650's had plenty of go and looked nice and i even remember having a drag on main north rd adelaide against a 500 on my sr500 well i held the lead up to 3rd gear than 2 cylinder's and 8 valves all came on song and blew me into the weeds   those were the days

Yep my last road registered bike was an 84 CX650  ( OK I had it out to 780cc and other  things  8) ....) Not as pig ugly as the early 500s and it sounded superb on over run with the exhaust mods done!!***** As many pushrod yes Pushrod engines do*****
