1985 250 Clutch
« on: December 06, 2009, 08:30:14 am »
Does anybody out there know how to keep an 85 250 original clutch operating. I can set the clutch up using the internal adjuster on the pressure plate but after I ride it I start to lose travel on the actuating arm. It appears that the arm keeps turning in the direction of the cylinder. I then have to adjust the cable travel at the handlebar lever. Once this is done the process happens again after the next ride. Any thoughts on how to get over this problem? Cheers Bill

You have something broke ???. Maybe the lever on the motor is twisting at the weld on top. Also check where the outer cable is held in the cases. Maybe pulling through.
