If one isn't NOS, i reckon its the second one of Henks' from Holland. He does some shady things and i don't trust him. Looks like the filler was taped up before painting. Is that what you're thinking?

me too, taped up ,you look closely at the rear off the tank it looks like fish eyes in the paint so i would say it was painted but not prepped  properly before hand

Correct, they are not. The mid-70s alloy Husky CR tanks are the sexiest ever. ;D

I've had good dealings with Henk, but I think the masking tape is a dead giveaway, especially once you see the other tank.  :(

The 74 Ossa Phantom tanks always bring the wood out.  ;D

I agree with everybody, both the standard '79 Honda tank and the RC version are beautiful as is the OSSA Phantom tank. I'm sure another favourite is the Yamaha YZ C/X 125 tank as used on the HL Yamaha. Just to throw an odd one into the mix, I reckon the Wassell trials tank is a little beauty. It seems to look at home on anything from a Hodaka trials bike to Marsh's Harley. I'm using one on my current Hindall Ducati 350 project.
