I think Curly in Darwin ended up with Darren (Elvis)Mayberry's works Kaw's but those were'nt 443's in a twin shock frame from memory.

Maybe Rick Cotton, he loves his KX's and I think theres a few extras in his collection now.

Yeah maybe Rick.. he's a bit hush on what he's got but he did recently by a few more Kawi's from England.

i know of 2 in aus
simons healys race bike
and darren mayberry (elvis )
still has his as well
does not ride it much now ;)

No both those bikes have tweaked KDX 400 motors.

Mine uses  kdx400  cases the same they used on the works bikes also i have the same stroker crank that was used by the works teams. The bike in the uk is the same set up as mine i have spoke to him some time ago when he was building it darrens uses a kdx450 motor in his with a kx500 piston the woeks bike that was used by dave thorp was 398cc when he was about 16 years old they started to use 443cc in the uni trak bikes in 1979
