Once the horses and show ponies had gone home, it was time for practice and A grade to start the racing order off  8)

believe there was a good turn out of riders.  From the video, looked like there was a good crowd as well.  Was it well accepted

The outfits where put into two class's and leaders slowed down a tad to make it look a bit of more cat and mouse to get the crowds enthralled.  8)

65 odd entrance all up..The main show bar area was chocker block.. :P
The locals know that the fireworks are on at 8pm,(ritual) so that's when the car park fills to full.
The ones who got to come early for parking space would of been surprise to catch the second last round of racing ,,,we squeezed as many races in as possible ,due to the fireworks folk having there permit firing time between 8-8.30pm.It all went really well in running time due to having an official that is from the oldskool.  :-*   ;D
The non vmx family people I spoke too(you know I speak to anyone Tossa ;)) had a wonderful time and really enjoyed the change of the show schedule. There was also the local kids that where kept entertained for the evening.  :P
I think it will work well again in the future with a bit more marketing for all those vmx like minded people.  8)
I reckon my Christmas present came early for me in this event  :P
cheers
Oh the original question  ;D   the crowd attending before and after fireworks probably about 500 and during fireworks about 1200.A lot of people looking at the display during the day too, small continual stream.  8)

Another reason that raised the attending entries was that it was run in conjunction with the Bridgetown 121st  Agricultural Show which made it very family orientated with ,craft, art, cake comp, flower & vegie comp, side show alley, fairy floss  ;D ,pat the duck, alpacas, calves, chickens, snake etc, agricultural machinery and small farm products, fire fighting equipment, dog show trials, poultry and cattle/sheep showing/judging---really was a great place to show case VMX  8)
