Is Yellow rock minibike club still operating?
« on: November 14, 2007, 12:36:45 pm »
Does anyone know what is happening with Yellow rock minibike club at Dapto NSW. Rode a couple of adult ride days there and hads lots of fun on the old bike (was even better when Gunter turned up for a few demos) a while ago but have heard its closed down with a possible relocation. The web site doesn't give much info as to whats happening. Anyone?

Apparently they were looking at relocation due to either owner selling up or developing the front 1/2 of the property.

I was at the local bike shop the other day and asked the question and it appears that they will be able to ride if they can get access to the rear section but that's where the problem lies as they will have to rely on another property owner allowing an access road to be built.

There hoping to get up and running early next year, time will tell.

Cheers Dave

For those interested yellow rock minibike club is up and running again. Its not really vmx but the guys there are very welcoming to vintage bikes and riders on their adult ride days. An easy drive from Sydney to ride some different tracks. Check out the calender on  www.yrmcc.com.au
