Grasy, I'll get back to you when I have something witty to say in response to your two posts of last night re the big two'ees and the Turkey.

Every Easter we have a weekend away riding the chookies and as always when I let one of my sons ride the Maico the repair bill usually runs into the thousands after that weekend. Same this time.

Anyway Grasy it seems that the interest in the Title Meeting at Griffith is still building momentem which is a good thing. Good to see/hear Dave Tanner is coming down from Qld (I think). I'm in awe of the bloke or anyone else whom makes that sort of effort.

Yeah Curly i'm still around, just been busy as all get out at work and dont seem to be able to spend as much time on the computer as I would like. Curly has Carl shown any interest in getting to the Titles and maybe having a ride. Would make mine and a few other's day who remember his take no prisoner's riding style to see him going round again.

No one would love to see the " Spear " back in action than me, apart from those sharing the track with him. This year I'll be flying the family flag, which shouldn't worry too many. But having said that I've managed to stir up his competitive juices for next year.
Can't wait to get stuck in this year.
Glad to see your still out there Col.

Yep im going to be there, bringing down a friend who was a cop in Griffith in the 80s so some good stories to be told on that little tour. Bringing down team Green KX450 73 KX250 76 and with any luck the KX125 74 slider and a possibility of one more machine for the pre65 class.

Suggest that in the past the determination of the rules has been flawed so better wait until the Sup regs are approved before there is any speculation on what will or will not run, note there are slider only classes that are not determined by 2 or 4 stroke but there are 4 stroke classes that dont exclude sliders. There has been discussion in the past of not allowing sliders in the class but in the absence of a formal request to alter the class structure you can have a slider in the pre 75 263 + 4 smoke class and the slider class

I wouldn't miss the Griffith Nats for quids. The best ever Aussie title was the '75 title at the Pines and I think the vibe thats starting to grow is pointing towards this event being a good'un too.
We were trying to get the Benelli and Nourish flat trackers done in time for the meeting but various obstacles have slowed progress so they won't be there. I'll be entering two bikes in pre 70 263+ and hope that it's a slider free class. It's going to be tough enough with Glenn Evans Metisse and the locals without every Hagon Jap in captivity getting in the way too ::).

We're spending the week leading up to the meeting staying with old friends in Yenda and Griffith which will give me ample opportunity to do some jetting and fine tuning on the bikes at the farm. It's also a great opportunity to rebuild my wine supplies and get out to see my old friends at DeBortolis and sample some William Bull beer and stock up on my mates Italian inlaws home made salami!
I love getting down there anyway so the bonus of a dirt track meeting as well is a double whammy bonus. If any forum members are unsure of whether it'll be worth going to the titles, take my word that 1: the track's a ripper, 2: the club running it are pretty switched on and 3: The local wineries and their products are top notch and add an another reason for going.

Freaky,
Get a better photo on your profile or are you just a c-ck ?(dont take that to heart just a bad pic)
There will be the three capacity classes,BUT in the PRE75 ALLPOWERS 4 STROKE RACE there will only be 4 STROKES. When the rule change comes to thru there will 2 & 4 Strokes in that specific race 125,250 & 263+ MX & Sliders. So you will still get your Pre 75 263+ ride with out the smaller cc bikes basterdising your class. Why would the 4 Strokes get pissed off as I have not seen a big cc 2 stroke win the Pre 75 263+cc title in 16 years.
Ask Col Moody he hates those FILTHY 4 strokes. ;D
Cheers Grasy

THere seems to be more rides in the MX classes, why dont they follow the same structure ? and why so few age brackets ? its looks like one age  under 60 all race  what gives???

Ian old son, the talk was for you two to get it on at Nepean on the 350's like 69, but I've been slack and had too much other shit on my plate. I'd still love to see it happen. It's a shame the mound on the outside of the right hander at Amaroo doesn't still exist.
If you have those bikes ready to go I think you should get stuck in, I'm sure there are others who would encourage it as well. If not I think the English Classic Grass Track champ is coming out and may need a ride.
As I've said before I'm not sure if putting Carlos back on a bike I've just restored is a good plan but as he is a dedicated family man now the horns on his head have probably shrunk a fair bit and it's still a plan.

Hi Gents, Sup regs will be at MA next week, keep an eye on the MA site to down load the entry form. GMSC are organising to have a practice night under lights in July on a Saturday. We have had 130 bikes pre entered with the flyers we have sent out. Noms for the meeting will be $130.00 + $20.00 for each extra class included will be a free T shirt advertising the event. We also will run Junior support classes 65cc,85cc & 150cc to obtain a brake between classes. THIS meeting is going to be a cracker !!!!!!!!!!!

pre 78 bikes as per ma rules are 1975 1976 1977 only. no up riding allowed.
pre75 bikes can upride in evo if you wish.as they are air cooled non linkage and non disc braked
then pre 78 bikes should upride to evo??????
