Carb Question for a late 60's K-15
« on: November 05, 2009, 07:19:35 pm »
So if you saw the Intro post I just scored a k15 from somewhere in the mid to late 60's....  I don't have an exact year but they didn't make em long so I can't be too far off.
I need a ton of stuff and most of it I'm either going to rummage for in the spare parts boxes that clutter my life or buy on the evil ebay but I dunno what exactly to get for the carby (can I start using that term? I like it better than just "carb") I found a new old stock one for my bike specifically on the evil-bay but I don't want to pay $125 for a tiny carby and was wondering who runs what on their 2stroke 80cc bikes and how big I can go, who makes the same hose clamp style mounts, is there an adapter, bla bla bla.  so any input would be super rad

Hi Dr Jon,

I have one of these, well I will have if I ever go to pick it up! It's a (very) low priority right now. I don't know anything about them, but we might eventually be able to swap information about these rare machines.

Welocme to the forum too.

Cheers
Tex
