YZ250/465 G/H - Handlebars
« on: October 27, 2009, 10:37:34 am »
Hi,

What bend handlebars have people found most suits a G/H bike?  I think some people use a high CR bend.

Are ones like these off a CRF250 2008 on ebay ok...

Renthal 809 bend is a popular high bend bar for VMX.

Depending on how tall you are, might be worth swaping the top tripple clamp for one from a "K" or later model.
The handlebar mount isn't swept back like the G/H and gives you a bit  more room.
Fits straight on.

Hi,

Wouldn't the K tripple tree inhibit the need to have the front forks 60mm stuck through the clamps?  I'm trying to maintain as much G stuff as possible on this bike without being silly. lol
