Motocross des Viper

I keep having this idea go around in my head (as well as that one about the talking bear but I know that's not real) about running some teams in Viper. Something along the lines of four riders in each team. One for expert, and three each for the different Evo age groups (35-40, 41-45, 45+ etc)
Each rider would score points in their particular class all year and would have to drop a round by the years end. Then each riders points (for their special race) would be all added together and the team with the most points for the year are the winners.
I'd be happy to run such a sideline (as long as I can get the points soon after each meeting). I'd even be happy to sponsor trophies for the winners, or four slabs of your favorite drop or whatever.....

Anyway let me know what you think (even if we only got two teams....)

Maybe manufacturer teams?  Team Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki, Suzuki etc. Team 465!!  ;)

Yeah. Team 465! We can wear goat heads, walk hauntingly around the pits refusing interveiws and, and, and........


It's not like people would have to do any more than what they're already doing (except turn up of course!) and it would promote a bit of the old Spirit-de-Corp.

Mind you your team mates might beat the shit out of you if you ride like an old girl..... :P

On a more serious note, I think this is a great idea. I can already see a RM team from hell forming up, to take down the Yamaha and Honda sheilas!

We could enter team maico..  to kick start the european entry list.  Shaun,myself, Clint Baker,stewie Muntz Marty ritchie( I hear marty has a 490 now), maico42 are all a chance for selection..
