Walter, not only do i get huge reductions in the cost of my fuel for transporting projects, but I also get a free RAAF helicopter ride to where i need to pick it up from if its more than an hour away from me
That way, I don't have to actually spend any real time driving 2000k,s to deliver a bike. I still have to drive back home though as "our fuel sponsor" only covers us 1 way......
Still, if I did more transport for free I would have loads more "mates"!
Actually, the last xr75 project I got for myself cost me nearly 18hours solid driving. Now if I worked that out, figuring from mcdonalds junior pay, I would still owe myself $200, which wouldn't cover the sponsor subsidised fuel, let alone food, drinks, wear and tear etc...needless to say, my bargain didn't exist.
Again, I would just like to remind people to be aware of the cost of transporting that "bargain project" before commiting to buy it. I speak from experience
