Shoey, clearly in front & feeling confident, flaunts his skills to the crowd with a Nac Nac. Being an older sort of guy though, he stops at the side of the track & leans his bike against the fence in order to achieve this aerobatic display. He was considering doing a “Superman” but declined for fear of his cape getting caught in the spokes.
The crowd is impressed; they punch the air in appreciation.
The atmosphere here is electric.
Hoony tries to use this atmosphere to create a spark in his 500, but it’s to no avail. He watches forlornly from the sidelines.
Oldfart stops at the side & looks down at his wheels as if something is wrong.
Pauls wheels must have fell off as he heads off home.
RossVickiCampbell  can’t find any spark either & misses qualifying. He may need to borrow something in order to make a showing in one of the consolation events.
Firko is disappointed with missing the start, he feels lousy. Lousy slaps him & walks off in a huff. He then abuses the promoter over some eligibility issues, he feels better now. Better gives him a cheeky smile.
Tony T circulates the infield on his posty bike looking to photograph some action & waves the riders by.
The promoter’s intention was to put on a C grade event & it has been attended by some very competent C graders, but some A graders have put in a good showing & are now running away with it. The promoter is surprised; it seems he is being offered the kudos for the extra ordinary efforts of others.
Will Shoey run out of fuel before the finish?
Is their no end to his showmanship?
Will his over confidence be his downfall?
We’ll have to wait for them to come around on the next lap to find out.

Geoff,
Time to step away from the keyboard. Come on, step away… Now go outside and take some deep breaths. It will all be OK… just breath slowly and deeply.

Geoff, I don't need your help to get into trouble…

You would have to ask the editor of that fine publication, but your audition copy is certainly entertaining… but is the world truly ready?

Gotta go, I think I need some deep breathing now.

Nah, I couldn't handle the pressure of having to write something 4 times a year, I'm flat out trying to keep up with my e-mails.
& Jeff may be right, the world isn't ready for me yet.

Mind you, if VMX Mag. needs someone to shoot off overseas to shoot or report on some exotic event or bike I may be able to put myself out.

Well, Shoey has thrown down the gauntlet, it landed on a spectators foot & their threatening to sue.
Then... yeah OK OK, I'll shut up ;D

Sorry Frosty, the bids are up to $750.00 allready. You need to read the first page, inbetween my babbling.

Just over 2 days to go now, will thier be any snipes to make Shoey eat his words?
Or will I be making a Husky pipe?

Congratulations Shoey, you have "won" a GMC pipe.

The result far exceeded my expectations & the other auctions that followed has shown what a great buch of blokes we have here in the VMX world.

Your a champion Shoey.

Well done guys.
